Ziplining is on!!!!

Rafting and Ecolodge and more :)

Hello everyone, and thanks Lisa is a pleasure to post the pics for you all to see and I have to what a great group of kids to work with!

The rafting went really well, though we just did the first section of the river, since the water level was really high we took the decision of not going yesterday for safety reasons. We ended up having a great anyway.

So the first day off rafting -Monday- was great we had so much fun. Everyone enjoyed it, jumping of the raft, swimming, jumping of rocks, it was a blast.

Once at Pacuare Ecolodge we had a great lunch and we did a lot of games and fun activities with kids. Telling scary stories at night was a highlight.

Second day at the lodge was packed with cool things, a Eco-Scavangers Hunt, paint rock to name the plants around the gardens, more games and our usual meeting to talk about the day are a few of the many thing we did.

We did a lot of Spanish talking, and learnt  how to "survive" in Costa Rica!!!!

Yesterday after having to call-off the rafting, we hiked up to meet our bus - many people actually pointed it out as a highlight of the day- then we drove to Arenal. We tried more fruits and Icecream. Once at the hotel a little pool time and then we visited the house of a local artist.

And to finish the day we took a 2 hour night walk looking for the wildlife at night, specially frogs and reptiles. It was pouring down, but the kids loved it anyway.

Well, today is Ziplining, Arenal Volcano Hike and the Organic Farm. Sad to think that is our last full day together.

Thanks for reading

Diego

Day at the Village

Hi Diego your guide here. Where to start. It's been and AMAZING day. One of the best for many of the kids I'm sure.

We went to Church first thing this morning, then toke a Class on how to make Corn Tortillas, help  to prepare the ingredients for tonight's dinner at the Fiesta and also learnt how to make some craft out of recycled material.

Then the big soccer game started, all rain and mud included, a highlight by the way!

Now the kids are shopping at the handcraft shop that the people of town put together for the kids to buy and help the community.

Next La Fiesta!!!! Pura Vida!

Ps. Can you believe we've done so much in 1 day????

Costa Rica is celebrating!

Good morning a day full of activities at the homestays is about to start. All the kids are doing great and loving their host families!!!!

This is part of the celebration yesterday at the Capital San Jose.
